I made this altered clipboard for my craft room. I copied an idea from Lisa at Simple-Journeys.blogspot.com because the one she made turned out so nicely. Before I began, I studied some at Splitcoaststampers.com. This has turned out about as well as any craft project I have done to date. Eventhough, I am pleased with it, I would not classify myself as being craftily inclined but rather craftily challenged.

Oh, wow! It turned out great! I love that bright color. I would consider this quite crafty! Wasn't it fun to do?
Lisa, it really was great fun. I messed up a couple of times but just kept right on painting. Like you said, there are no mistakes. It is so bright that it is hard to take a picture of it!
My question concerns functionality though. I mean how do you write on a clipboard with a 3 dimensional flower on it? Wouldn't your papers buck up and then your pencil/pen would push a hole in the paper?
Chessy, your mind works too much like mine where everything has to be functional. This can be functional or used just for decoration. You can hang it on the wall and use it to attach 'to do lists' or like Lisa suggested, you can add a piece of cork board and use it for a bulletin board center. You should make one for your office.
